In the recently released 2019 Signet RamCompare lamb crop results our EasyRam Sufftex, 6765/17, was recognised as being the highest yielding ram for gigot weight in the carcase, when assessed on the weight adjusted basis – outperforming in this category 210 terminal rams of all breeds trialled over the last 4 years.

This result vindicates the intense recording work we have undertaken since the start of EasyRams. The use of CT scanning is a major contributor to our improving carcass quality.Over the last 7 years we have CT scanned 230 rams at the CT unit at SRUC, which we believe is the largest amount scanned by any individual private ram breeder in the UK over a similar period.

EasyRams main priority is to be fully complient with the current GOV.UK recomenadations to prevent the spread of corona virus and to save lives.

If Social Distancing continues throughout this year we will make arrangements for Purchasers to inspect a selection of rams on farm in an isolated and safe manner.

Or we will also continue selecting rams on your behalf and provide you with INDIVIDUAL RAM VIDEOS and PERFORMANCE FIGURES. ( 70% of all sales are currently completed this way.) Your selected rams will then be delivered to your farm by us.
